“I will never own my own salon!” Never say never! With the encouragement of her late husband, Ian, her daughter, Savannah, friends, and family, Sam found herself eating those very words when she embarked on a new adventure as the owner of Split Enz Salon in 2013.

Amber’s professional career has always included leadership, whether as a retail manager for well-known clothing stores or as a general restaurant manager. In both industries, she cultivated her ability to work with people, although now, at Split Enz Salon, she truly enjoys doing so in a much more personal way.

Hair Designer & Educator
Shelby received her cosmetology license through Gloucester High School in 2014 and has been a member of the Split Enz Salon team for seven years. She loves to dabble in all aspects of hair service and especially enjoys being part of transformational changes.

Kristy had the great pleasure and opportunity to always know what she wanted to do with her life, having access to the training and education needed right here at home at Gloucester High School. She is deeply grateful that her career is also her passion.

After many years of working in different industries, Laura realized the common denominator of them all was her enjoyment of working with women. What better place than a salon?! She decided to make a career switch and immediately enrolled in and completed the cosmetology program.

Nicole’s journey and love for nail services began in high school when she enrolled in the cosmetology program and joined the team at Naturals, a nail salon dedicated to the health of the natural nail.

Hannah’s journey as an esthetician began in 2018. She was first licensed in Pennsylvania, with Virginia following soon after. She has always had a huge love for and interest in skincare. Dedicated to continuous learning and keeping pace with the latest advancements, she attends shows and classes to stay informed.

Massage Therapist
Agi promises to deliver a custom-tailored massage to every guest who is served, meeting and exceeding their specific needs and desires so they leave her treatment room restored both physically and emotionally. She is proficient across multiple massage modalities, including therapeutic, Swedish, prenatal, Vedic Thai Yoga, and Hawaiian Lomi.

Truth be told, Split Enz Salon wouldn’t survive without Isabella! At least, that’s what we all tell her! Isabella helps keep the day moving smoothly, serving each guest with a latte and a smile. She began the nail technician internship during her final year of high school.

Catlin’s experience with Split Enz Salon began as a client, so when the opportunity presented itself for her to join the team, her firsthand knowledge of the values and culture of the salon made the decision, in her words, a no-brainer!

Audrey’s life goal has always been to show up as the best version of herself. Most recently, she fulfilled that goal by challenging herself through multiple forms of education. We are proud to celebrate her achievements! She was recently awarded her bachelor’s degree in psychology, which she pursued alongside the internship program here at Split Enz Salon – which is now also complete!

Growing up, Alexis has always loved all things hair, makeup, and glam. She’d spend every moment of her free time watching videos and teaching herself how to do makeup. While living in a house full of sisters, she always got plenty of practice! She received her cosmetology license during her senior year of high school.

Alison was born and raised right here in Gloucester. She watched her family own and grow successful small-town businesses, instilling a core belief that hard work, dedication, sacrifices, and compassion will always drive your success. In 1994, Alison married her husband, and soon after, they welcomed her son, Tyler.

Aniston began her cosmetology journey elsewhere and was both grateful and excited to transfer to Split Enz Salon so she could continue her education through hands-on apprenticeship via our internship program. She’s had a passion for hair from a very young age and spent much of her time as a 12-year-old practicing braiding and styling her own hair.
