Alison was born and raised right here in Gloucester. She watched her family own and grow successful small-town businesses, instilling a core belief that hard work, dedication, sacrifices, and compassion will always drive your success. In 1994, Alison married her husband, and soon after, they welcomed her son, Tyler. Knowing Gloucester was home, they happily took over her husband’s farming business and let those roots grow deep.
Alison worked in retail for her family very early on, knowing the corporate world was not for her and finding immense joy and blessing in continuing to work for family-owned and operated businesses. Over the years, she has learned so much, whether in masonry retail, developing film as a professional photographer, or helping manage and operate her family’s grocery business. When asked to join the Split Enz Salon team, Alison was elated to bring her experience and continued commitment to client care, professionalism, management, empathy, patience, and positivity everywhere she goes – on the phone or face to face – as she now contributes to yet another beautiful small-town Gloucester business. She loves getting to know each guest and enjoys providing friendly and compassionate service.
She is a brave breast cancer Survivor, deeply blessed, believes family is everything, and always keeps God first and foremost in her life.
When she’s not here in the salon greeting our guests as they walk through the door, she can be found enjoying life with her family and friends, traveling, and celebrating good food. She has three beautiful grandkids that keep her busy, and she loves every single second of it. God is good!
